HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – With the recent passage of the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA), State Women Infants and Children Agencies are able to enhance benefits for the next four months.
This expands the vegetable and fruit voucher from $9 a month for children and $11 a month for women to $35 a month per participant from now through September 30th in Montana.
WIC’s vegetable and fruit voucher was introduced in 2007 as part of an effort to increase the nutritional quality of WIC-approved foods.
