Chinook Under Boil Water Advisory after Water Line Break Reported

CHINOOK, Mont. (NMB) – The City of Chinook is expected to be under a boil water advisory until Monday after a water line break was reported on Wednesday on 6th Street West between New York and Pennsylvania Streets.

Water came back on to the city at around midnight on Thursday morning after the break was fixed, and there is not expected to be any delay in the construction project.

During the advisory, do not drink water without boiling it first. Boiled or bottled water should be used for drinking, making ice, washing dishes, brushing teeth and food preparation.
