HELENA, Mont. (NMB) – Fishing in Montana is free over Father’s Day weekend as Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks encourages families to enjoy the weekend recreating outdoors.
While anyone can fish without a license on June 19th and 20th, all other fishing rules and regulations are in effect and must be followed.
All would-be anglers are encouraged to be aware of boating and water safety on Montana’s rivers and streams. Additionally, those with watercraft of any kind must remember to stop at all AIS inspection stations.
