FLATHEAD COUNTY, Mont. (NMB) – Flathead County officials say a man died over the weekend while kayaking in the Flathead River.
James Curtis, 39, of Kalispell, fell into the middle fork of the river on Sunday while kayaking with his wife.
The man was declared dead at a local hospital after attempts to perform CPR.
He was not wearing a life jacket.
