MISSOULA, Mont. (NMB) – The Garnet Ghost Town Historical Site in Granite County remains closed to the public as authorities battle a wildfire in the area.
As of Monday morning, the Anderson Hill Fire, which is just one mile from the site, was at 647 acres with just three percent containment.
The fire is burning in heavy timber and firefighters are continuing to work to try to suppress the blaze.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
