POWELL COUNTY, Mont. (NMB) – A 59-year-old Ovando man was killed in a single-vehicle motorcycle crash in Powell County on Saturday evening.
The Montana Highway Patrol reports that the crash occurred at 6:14 PM at mile marker 65 of Montana 200 near Lincoln, when a westbound 2012 Harley Davidson drifted off the right side into the ditch and up the opposite side. The vehicle skidded, went through brush and rolled.
The driver died while in transit to a Missoula hospital.
The road was bare and dry at the time of the crash.
Excessive speed and use of alcohol or drugs are all not suspected factors in the crash.
