UM Law School Heads Step Down

MISSOULA, Mont. (NMB) – Amid allegations of failing to act on reports of sexually harassment and assault, University of Montana Law School Dean, Paul Kirgis and Associate Dean, Sally Weaver have announced they are stepping down.

An exact date that the resignations will take effect has not been announced.

This comes after over a hundred people staged a walkout of the law school earlier in the week as a form of protest.

The University of Montana has announced they will be conducting an independent review of the allegations.
