LIVINGSTON, Mont. (NMB) – A 42-year-old Libby man was killed in a single-vehicle crash on Thursday afternoon in Park County.
The Montana Highway Patrol reports that the crash occurred at 3:36 PM on Swingley Road near Livingston, when the man was driving a Chevy Tahoe northbound at a high rate of speed. It was raining and the road was muddy.
The vehicle entered a right curve and lost control. It slid off the left side of the road and collided with a fence.
The vehicle overturned multiple times down a steep embankment.
The driver was the only occupant of the vehicle. He was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle. He was declared dead at the scene.
