Browning Woman Killed after Being Struck by Pickup Truck

BROWNING, Mont. (NMB) – The Montana Highway Patrol reports that a 32-year-old Browning woman has died after being struck by a pickup truck on Monday night.

The incident occurred at 8:56 PM on North Piegan Street, when a 29-year-old Browning man driving a Chevy Silverado southbound struck a pedestrian.

The vehicle continued southbound, while the pedestrian was transported to a local hospital and succumbed to her injuries.

The driver was not injured, and it is unclear at this time what charges he could face.

The road was clear and dry.
