Ranchers Stewardship Workshop @ Milk River Pavillion in Malta
    Mar 4 all-day

The cow herd is down and if those cows are going to stick around, they’ve got to be productive. Have room for improvement? Join the Ranchers Stewardship Alliance for a two-part workshop at the Milk River Pavilion in Malta Monday, March 4. Steve Campbell of Tailor Made Cattle will spend the morning challenging ranchers to think outside the box in terms of cattle mineral delivery. Then, during the afternoon, he’s bringing his infamous “Red Solo Cup Cow” presentation with a live cattle demonstration where he’ll teach his unique method of identifying healthy, easy-keeping cattle based on phenotypical traits. Head to RanchStewards.org/events for details.

    Mar 5 @ 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm

Angel Care will be hosting memory cafes in Havre for the Hi line Communities, the 2nd Tuesday of each month from 2pm-4pm at the Angle Care offices in the Holiday Village Mall. Memory Cafes are an opportunity to be a part of a support group for Alzheimer’s/Dementia/Memory Care while enjoying refreshments and doing a fun activity connecting caregivers on another level with the loved one they are caring for. Here is the schedule for each month’s activity. RSVP is preferred but not required. RSVP to Angela or Nicole at 406-262-7892

A Memory Cafe is a welcoming and safe space for individuals with Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, or other brain disorders, as well as their caregivers, to socialize, enjoy activities, and exchange information. These cafes are designed to provide a shared experience for both the individual and their caregiver. They are not intended to be a place to “drop off” your loved one for a while, but rather a way to enjoy activities with them as a break from the normal routine that you share. Memory cafes are hosted and/or facilitated by health care and social services professionals to provide guidance and respond to questions or requests for resources.
