Ages 0-8 Wednesday’s. Get a book into the hands of your baby/toddler. Storytime at 10:30am. Read a book, sing a song and repeat. Crafts to follow. Participation counts as minutes read.

Mt. Centennial
(Rocky Boy’s Reservation)
Join us for a hike on Mt. Centennial and see beautiful 360-degree views from the top. There are tons of wildflowers
along the trail, and bighorn sheep have been seen in the area before.
Havre Trails has a group hiking permit for Rocky Boy’s Reservation. You may hike with Havre Trails under this permit,
but individuals who want to return to hike on their own on reservation land and are not enrolled tribal members must
purchase a recreation permit through Rocky Boy’s Natural Resources Department.

Meeting Time and Place
Please carpool if possible. From Havre, meet at the HRDC parking lot at 2229 5th Avenue at 5:30pm to
carpool/caravan if desired. From Rocky Boy, meet at the Old Stone Child College parking lot at 6:00pm.
Driving directions: From Havre, travel south on Hwy 234 for 20 miles, then take a right onto Taylor Rd to the Agency.
Take a left at the stop sign at Old Stone Child College and then a right at Duck Creek Rd. Take Duck Creek for a few
miles to Sandy Creek Road on the left, which turns to gravel. A few miles after the gravel begins, there will be a cattle
guard. This is the beginning of the trail.
Length: approximately 4.6 miles; 2.5-3.0 hours
Difficulty: moderate to strenuous – the elevation gain is roughly 1,250 feet; there are some areas with loose rock, so
sturdy footwear and/or hiking poles are recommended

The Havre Senior Center will be holding a barbecue in Pepin Park on Friday June 16th from 11am until 1pm. There will be a free hamburger or polish dog and activities. The event is open to all area seniors. You can sign up at the senior center or call the senior center at 406-265-5464.
