FORT BELKNAP, Mont. (NMB) – In a press release, the FBI announced that on Tuesday morning, they executed a federal search warrant at a residence on the Fort Belknap Reservation.
The FBI says percussive devices were employed by members of the FBI SWAT team but no shots were fired and no one was injured. They say no arrests were made and there is no danger to the community.
The FBI says that this is in connection with an ongoing investigation and is unrelated to the shooting on October 23rd in which an officer fatally shot 34-year-old Clayburn Elwood Grant.
FBI Spokesperson Sandra Barker says they are unable to release any other details because the case is under seal.
