Box Elder Woman Killed in Single-Vehicle Crash

BOX ELDER, Mont. (NMB) – A 21-year-old Box Elder woman was killed in a single-vehicle crash on Saturday morning, according to the Montana Highway Patrol.

The crash occurred at 8:23 AM, when the woman was driving a Jeep Wrangler eastbound on Duck Creek Road and failed to negotiate a right-hand curve.

The vehicle vaulted, causing it to impact the ground nose first and roll end over end.

The driver was pronounced dead at the scene. They were wearing a seatbelt.

There were no other occupants in the vehicle.

Excessive speed is a suspected factor in the crash.

The road was bare and dry.
