Huson Man Killed in Rollover Crash

MISSOULA COUNTY, Mont. (NMB) – The Montana Highway Patrol reports that a 23-year-old man from Huson was killed Thursday evening in a rollover crash on I-90 west of Missoula.

The man was driving a Jeep Wrangler westbound at mile marker 86 and failed to negotiate a right-hand curve and drove off the left side of the road into the median. The vehicle then hit a Department of Transportation sign and was launched over the crossover.

The vehicle landed in the ditch on the eastbound median and rolled, ejecting the unrestrained driver.

The vehicle came to rest blocking the left passing lane of the eastbound lane.

The driver, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The road was wet at the time.

Alcohol, drugs or excessive speed are all not listed as suspected factors in the crash report.
