SUPERIOR, Mont. (NMB) – NBC Montana reports that a man died on Monday after jumping off a bridge on I-90 in Mineral County in an attempt to avoid a semi-truck.
Sheriff Mike Toth says the man was not from Montana.
The incident occurred at mile marker 47 near Superior, when the man stopped and exited his vehicle. He tried to get an oncoming semi to stop, and when it did not slow down, he jumped off the 80-foot-tall bridge.
It was dark at the time.
