The MSU-Northern Lights and Skylights were in action Thursday night against Montana Tech. For the women, the final would be a loss for the Skylights 71-61 against the Orediggers. L’Tia Lawrence would be the leading scorer for the Skylights with 22 points and five 3-pointers, while Peyton Kehr would finish with 20 points.
For the men, it would be a 75-66 loss against the Tech team with three players posting double-figures for the Lights in Keltner’s 18, Harris’ 17, and McCadney’s 17 points.
Next up for the Northern basketball teams is a matchup with Carroll College on Saturday. Skylights start the day off at 2pm with both games being aired live on QX-92.5 FM.
