Gift Provided to Northern for High School Graduates Pursuing Trades

HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – MSU-Northern has announced the reception of a $200,000 donation that will be used to create a new endowment for the University.

A press release says that the preference for the scholarship, which will fund $6,000 a year in perpetuity, will be given to applicants in the trades program who graduated from the Browning, Cut Bank, and Sunburst high schools and are attending MSUN.

The anonymous donors have asked that the endowment fund specifically fund student scholarships for those taking programs in the College of Technical Science.

The donation was made via the MSU-Northern Foundation that functions as an arm of Northern to facilitate scholarships, endowments, and other gifts to the school.
