HELENA, Mont. (NMB) – The Montana Wildlife Habitat Improvement Program (WHIP) advisory council will meet this Thursday, January 20th at 9 AM both in-person and via Zoom.
The council will make funding recommendations for $2 million in federal funds that will go towards wildlife habitat restoration work in the form of noxious weed management.
The Pittman-Robertson fund focuses on landscape-scale projects involving multiple landowners working together to solve noxious weed issues on priority habitats.
A public comment opportunity will take place in the afternoon.
