Blue Pony Boys Ready For Rematch With Golden Eagles

The Havre Blue Ponies ready up for their game Saturday night versus the Fergus Golden Eagles. NMB Sports had the opportunity to catch up with head coach Waylinn Burgess. Coach talked about the game on Saturday and said “They’re excited to see where they’re at” as they matchup up with one of the top teams in the state. Interestingly enough the last time the Ponies tipped off with the Eagles the game would come down to the final seconds with the Issac Pedraza having the opportunity to take a lead late in the game. The shot didn’t end up falling for the Ponies and coach didn’t put much stock into the first matchup.  He talked about while the close game proved that they could compete with top teams, but did say “since than they have gotten better, but so have we.” You’ll have the opportunity to see this matchup as the Blue Ponies Saturday night down in the Metra in Billings.
