Wednesday Montana COVID Update

HELENA, Mont. (NMB) – The Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services reported 1,032 new COVID-19 cases across the state in their Wednesday morning update.

Eight newly reported COVID-related deaths were announced as well, including two each from Missoula and Gallatin Counties and one each in Cascade, Valley, Wheatland and Yellowstone.

Two counties reported at least 100 new COVID-19 cases, led by Cascade with 168, and Missoula with 124.

The active hospitalization count increased by six to 309, while the active case count dipped slightly to 8,340.

The percentage of eligible Montanans considered fully immunized remains at 54 percent, with 1.393 million vaccine doses administered.
