HELENA, Mont. (NMB) – The Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services reported 862 new COVID-19 cases and 11 new deaths across the state in their Tuesday morning update.
Of the 11 newly reported COVID-related deaths, four are from Cascade County, two are from Lake County, and there is one each from Liberty, Carbon, Custer, Missoula and Yellowstone.
Two counties reported at least 100 new COVID-19 cases, led by Cascade with 195, and Flathead with 182.
The active hospitalization count dropped by 30 to 236, while the active case count dipped by 447, bringing that number down to to 4,140.
The percentage of eligible Montanans considered fully immunized remains at 54 percent, with nearly 1.4 million vaccine doses administered.
