HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – Registration is open for Havre Public School’s spring edition of Community Education classes in Havre. Coordinator Tiffany Olsen says classes will start next week and they have several new classes along with old favorites.
“There’s one on fancy pie designs where you learn to make your pie into a masterpiece. There’s a new one. It’s a perfect spring class. It’s beginning floral arranging. You’ll get to go put together a floral centerpiece that you’ll take home with you. There’s Sewing Machine 101. That’s always a well-attended class on how to use your machine.”
On top of their art and fitness classes, they are also offering several dance classes this spring.
“There’s four different dance classes that are new to our curriculum this spring. There’s a Latin dance, ballroom dancing, freestyle dance, and social dance. And these all span the course of the whole spring session, so you really have multiple times to use this and to learn these courses in depth.”
You can register for classes at the Robins Building, online at blueponyk12.com, or by calling 395-8550. Olsen encourages people to register early as some classes can fill up quickly. They are also looking for people interested in teaching classes.
