Kalispell Man Sentenced for 100 Years for Killing

KALISPELL, Mont. (NMB) – A Kalispell man has been sentenced to 100 years in prison for killing his wife in December 2020.

Bradley Jay Hillious, 35, was sentenced on Tuesday in Flathead County District Court.

Prosecutors alleged that Hillious strangled his wife and threw her down a flight of stairs at their home. Hillious claimed Amanda Hillious fell down the stairs.

The defense requested a new trial, arguing that their right to a fair trial was violated. The motion was denied by Judge Robert B. Allison.

An appeal is expected.
