HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – Two Hill County women facing theft charges in connection to the John Deere and E-1 Towing burglaries failed to appear for their arraignment hearings Monday morning. Gloria Crazyboy and Leslie Crazyboy have each been charged with three counts of theft, two felonies and one misdemeanor. Both women failed to show up at their hearings last week and each was issued an arrest warrant for $5,000.
Court documents say that while investigating the burglaries at John Deere and E-1 Towing on January 29th, Hill County Sheriff’s Deputies drove by the Crazyboy residence, which was suspected for area thefts. They observed items in the back of a vehicle that matched stolen property and got search warrants for the residence and two vehicles.
In the home, they found numerous stolen items and shoes that matched footprints at the burglaries. Stolen items were located in one vehicle and bolt cutters were found in another.
In Leslie Crazyboy’s bedroom, deputies allegedly found shoes matching prints at John Deere, two stolen credit cards, as well as tires and chrome wheels. The credit cards were believed to have been in a pickup stolen from the John Deere dealership.
In Gloria Crazyboy’s bedroom, deputies allegedly found several knives believed to have been stolen from a storage unit.
Deputies found dozens of other items believed to have been stolen from the area recently.
