HILL COUNTY, Mont. (NMB) – A 29-year-old Havre woman is facing numerous pending charges, including felony criminal child endangerment, after allegedly engaging in a pursuit in Hill County.
Hill County Undersheriff Stan Martin says Jevie Jean Doney is also facing pending charges of Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol or Drugs, reckless driving, driving with a suspended or revoked license, and fleeing or eluding a Peace Officer.
Martin says at 10:23 PM on Friday night, they were notified of the pursuit by Rocky Boy Police and asked to assist. Doney, the alleged driver, was fleeing in a white 2004 Chevy Silverado and headed towards the Beaver Creek Highway with a minor child in the vehicle.
Deputies responded and deployed spike strips on the vehicle, hitting three of the four tires.
The northbound vehicle came to a stop between mile markers 8 and 9 of the Beaver Creek Highway.
Doney was arrested and remains in custody at the Hill County Detention Center.
No injuries were reported, and it is unclear if any damage was caused.
Officials with Rocky Boy Police were unavailable for comment on Monday morning.
