HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – The Hill County Commission convened on Thursday morning for their weekly business meeting and discussed a handful of items.
However, perhaps the most noteworthy item came in employment news, as the Commission announced Council on Aging Director will be resigning, with his last day coming July 8th. Commissioner Diane McLean said they received his resignation letter the previous afternoon.
During claims, the Commission approved the purchase of a fridge for the Health Department to store vaccines for $2,059.99. It is expected to arrive in mid-July. The Health Department’s fridge broke back in March. At that point, they had to have vaccines stored at Northern Montana Hospital. Since then, the Health Department has also purchased temporary coolers that can be used to store vaccines on-site in case a similar situation were to happen again.

- The Commission unanimously approved an easement in the Laredo area.
- The Commission tabled any action on a County Credit Card Policy, the Insurance PCT Breakout, and a Professional Services Contract for Preliminary Architectural report
