Northstars Defeated in Semifinal

(NMB) A Trajan Sparks single in the bottom of the seventh inning gave the Lewistown Redbirds a 5 to 4 victory over the Havre Northstars Saturday afternoon in the semifinal of the North District American Legion Baseball tournament. Havre scored 3 runs in the 3rd inning and 1 run in the 6th, Havre collected only two hits on the afternoon. Brody Nanini went the distance on the mound for Havre allowing five runs on ten hits. Lewistown’s Xander Wright went the full 7 innings, gave up two hits and walked three. Havre now moves into the consolation semifinal at 10am on Sunday morning.
