Numerous players on the Havre Northstars American Legion Baseball team have been recognized individually for their outstanding seasons.
Brody Nanini has been named an All-Conference and All-State pitcher. Nanini has appeared in 15 games and pitched over 81 innings. His ERA is 2.75 and he has recorded 59 strikeouts compared with 20 walks. Nanini has been sensational at the plate as well, as he led Havre with 68 RBIs and a batting average of .414.
Trenton Maloughney was also named an All-Conference Pitcher. He pitched over 54 innings this season, posting an ERA of 3.07 and a record of 8 wins and 3 losses.
Catcher Eli Cloninger was named to the All-Conference team. Cloninger has appeared in all 58 games for Havre and has an outstanding batting average of .414, with 79 hits and 35 RBIs.
Infielder Theron Peterson was also named All-Conference. Peterson hit .395 on the season and had a team-high 9 triples.
The Northstars are playing in the State Tournament this week in Belgrade. Their record on the season is 36 wins, 21 losses, and 1 tie.
