The Havre Trap Club is hosting their Moonlight Trap shoot September 17th starting at 8PM.
Moonlight shoots usually happen in August and September and according to trap club member Emi Smith, says the shoot is open to the public and site is easy to find.
“Go past the hockey dome turn and the border patrol station. It’s right after the concrete bridge where you take a left.”
Smith says spectators are welcome and gun safety is the greatest importance.
“We want to make sure the person is safe with their shotgun. They know how to work their shotgun. We do have people around to help you with the trap shooting part of it.”
The Moonlight Shoot begins at 8PM with registration starting at 7PM.
