(NMB) The Hill County Community Foundation is currently seeking applications for its annual grant cycle which will award a total of seven-thousand dollars to local Hill County non profits. Hill County Foundation board member Jim Bennett says the Foundation focuses on three areas’ when considering the applications. “We really focus on three area and those three areas are basic human needs, community beautification, and the arts. Tha’s been our granting focus.”
Applications are short and easy to complete and can be found on the Hill County Community Foundation web site Hill County Community Foundation dot org or you can request an application by emailing Hill County CF at Gmail dot com. Bennett encourages Hill County nonprofits to apply. “If you’re a nonprofit organization that’s operating in Hill County and is working on a project that needs a little extra oomph, our grants are typically between $500.00 and $1000.00 dollars.”
The deadline to apply is October 31st. The Hill County Community Foundation’s first grants went out in 1997 and have included various rural ambulance departments, Bear Paw Volunteer Fire Department, the Food Pantry, Salvation Army, Havre Trails and many others.
