(NMB) The Havre Blue Pony Football team is currently on a game winning streak and currently sits at 5 and 2 in the tough Eastern “A” Conference. The defense has played well all year and the last three games the offense has been very balanced. Head Coach Jake Eldridge says the balance has been key for both sides of the ball. “I think that balance has been really key for us as of late, and really it’s a team effort. The defense has been doing the things that they need to do to be able to get the ball back to the offense, and the offense is getting first downs and controlling the ball. It starts up front on both sides of the ball and the kids have been doing a really good job at it.”
The Ponies will look to win their fourth game in a row as they aim for a Class “A” playoff berth. Havre is on the road Friday night for another Conference contest against the Park High Rangers in Livingston. Kickoff is scheduled for 6pm.
