(NMB) The Chinook Sugarbeeters finished the regular season 7 and 1, locked up the number two seed out of the Northern “C” football conference and will open the first round of the playoffs on the road October 29th against Ennis, the Number two seed out of the South Central. With a weekend off, Head Coach Mike Jones says his team will work on some individual things before they turn their attention to Ennis.
“We’re going to work a ton of individual stuff this week, as well as start to see some things we want to do offensively and defensively. And work on those at the small level and build this up to a team level, so that it becomes second nature with a two-week window here.”
Kickoff for Chinook’s First round playoff game in Ennis is Scheduled for 1pm. Other first round Matchups for teams from the North are Belt vs Charlo and Fort Benton vs Fairview.
