Ponies FB Drops Defensive Battle

The only scoring of the game came late in the 3rd quarter Thursday night at Blue Pony Stadium. Laurel’s Owen Adams Kicked a 27-yard field goal and the Locomotives defeated the Ponies 3 to 0. Defense was the theme of the night as both offenses struggled to find a rhythm.  Havre finishes the regular season 6 and 3 and will be the number 4 seed out of the East for the Class “A” football playoffs. Havre’s first round playoff opponent is yet to be determine as they wait to find out who the number 5 seed out of the West will be. The Ponies will host that first-round game on Saturday October 29th at Blue Pony Stadium.
