(NMB) The Post Season is here for the Havre High School Volleyball team. They finished the regular season unbeaten and enter this week’s Eastern “A” Divisional tournament as the number one seed out of the Northeast “A”. Head Coach Stephanie Huse says the Ponies are playing really well headed into the post season.
“We’re definitely in a space where we’re playing good volleyball and it’s good timing as we go into the tournaments.”
The message all year for the Ponies has been control the things they can control, and Coach Huse says that message won’t change.
“Making sure that we’re executing and being fundamentally sound. That we’re controlling our energy level on the court, making sure that we are good, strong, supportive teammates to one another because the competition stress that tournament brings, all of those things need to be really sound.”
The Eastern “A” Divisional tournament is Wednesday through Saturday in Sidney. The Ponies open up play Thursday morning at 11:45. The top 4 teams will advance to the State Volleyball tournament in Bozeman.
