Ponies go 1 and 1 on Day Two of Divisional Volleyball

(NMB) The Havre Blue Pony volleyball team went 1 and 1 on day two of the Eastern “A” Divisional volleyball tournament on Friday in Sidney. The Ponies lost a 5 set quarterfinal match to the Hardin Bulldogs 16-25, 17-25, 25-22,25-22 and 15-13. Avery Carlson had 16 kills in the match. Molly Huse led the team in assists with 37. Kyanna Jarvis and Liz Haney had 29 and 19 digs and Emilee Chambliss was the leader in Blocks with 3. The loss to Hardin put the Ponies in a loser out contest against Fergus County. Havre won in Straight sets 25-14, 25-19 and 25-21. Molly Huse was again the team leader is assists with 37. Avery Carlson and Emilee Chambliss had 10 kills each and Huse and Carlson each had double digit digs. With the win Havre advances to play Billings Central at 10am Saturday morning.
