The Havre School Board had a tough decision to make Thursday night.
Two candidates Brian Gum and David Perkins were interviewed for the superintendent position at Havre Public Schools. Following the interviews and public comments the Havre school board offered Brian Gum the position. In order to honor his commitment to the community the school board decided to offer Mr. Gum a three year contract.
The school board agreed that both candidates were good options, but were most impressed with Mr. Gum’s vision, understanding of the Havre community, and potential to take Havre Public Schools to the next level.
