There’s a new improvement within Chinook. A Bulk Water Sale station has been moved to a more convenient location. Jeff Ashley an Engineer for the City of Chinook explains more.
“The city currently has what we call a bulk water sale station at the water treatment plant, and so the location at the treatment plant was difficult just because chemical deliveries, and just operations and maintenance at the water treatment plant. So, the city was interested in getting the bulk water station away from the treatment plant and into a little more convenient area and safe area, and so it’s right on the south side of town, just south of the fire hall near the city shop as well with a wide-open area, easy for bigger trucks from contractors to get in and out of the area. So, like I said that should be online completely here in a few weeks and ready for the water season, if you will, with the spring and the summer coming up.”-Jeff Ashley
