(Havre) – The Hill County Health Consortium is here to help the residents of Hill County. Chief Health Officer for Hill County Kim Berg explains who serves on the Hill County Health Consortium.
“It’s a group of organizations, community members, business owners that have come together in the past to work on different health concerns, health issues that come up in Hill County.”-Berg
The Hill County Health Needs Assessment is underway. Berg explains what the Hill County Health Consortium will find out with this survey.
“The health needs assessment is done every three to five years to get a broader look of the issues that are happening within a community around health. Whether it’s safe and reliable transportation, drug use and abuse or lack of accessibility to health care services. There’s a wide variety of all the questions that are asked.“-Berg
