FORT BENTON, Mont. (NMB) – On Monday afternoon, one person was killed in a single vehicle rollover wreck near Fort Benton.
The Montana Highway Patrol says the accident happed at about 1:30 PM Monday on Montana Highway 80 near mile marker 9. The northbound driver left the right side of the roadway and hit an agricultural approach, then rolled. The driver was wearing a seatbelt, the airbags were deployed, and the roads were bare and dry at the time of the crash. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
The victims name has not been released pending notification of the family. No more information was immediately available.
