(Bozeman) – Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks will conduct a bear safety event at their Bozeman office Tuesday, June 13.
The workshop will offer training and hands on practice with safety tools, and a bear display. The displays will include full mounts of grizzly and black bears, skulls, tracks, food storage suggestions, bear spray holsters, and a remote controlled bear spray target.
The first thirty attendees for the noon presentation will receive a free can of bear spray. FWP staff will be on hand for discussion and training.
The event will run 11:30a to 4p, is family friendly, and the public is welcome to attend.
