The Havre Golf team started off their busy week with a tournament in Glendive for the Custer County Invitational on Thursday. Both the Boys and Girls teams finished in second place.
The boys finished with a 349. Matt Huse led the pack by shooting 82, which was good for 2nd overall in the individual field. Carter Spangler shot 86 and Shane Patacsil finished with 89.
The girls had a team score of 432 with Shea Reber carting a 104 and Brenna Hanson a 106 followed by Tierra Parker’s 109.
The Blue Ponies will regroup and face another field in Sidney for their invitational on Friday.
