The Montana State University-Northern men’s golf team competed at Meadowlark Country Club in Great Falls this past Monday and Tuesday. After two rounds of competition, the Lights men finished in fifth place with an aggregate score of +289. Rocky Mountain College ended up taking home the crown, being the only team in the field to shoot under par at -12.
Kyler Cassel was the leading scorer for MSU-N, carting a +33 to give him an 18th-place finish in the overall standings. Tristan Fladager was the other competitor for the Lights as he shot +98 for a 24th-place finish.
The Lights and Skylights will be back in competition when they head to Billings to play at the Yegen Golf Course on Oct. 2 and 3.
