Air Force Officer Admits to Selling Child Porn

(Great Falls) – A member of the U.S. Air Force at the Malmstrom Air Force Base in Great Falls admitted to allegations that he obtained and sold images of child sexual abuse material using social media.

Brandon Earl Bankston pleaded guilty to possession with intent to sell child pornography and now faces a mandatory minimum of five years to 20 years of imprisonment, a $250,000 fine and not less than five years to a lifetime of supervised release.

Sentencing was set for March 14, 2024 and Bankston was detained pending further proceedings. Chief United States District Judge Brian M. Morris presided over the case.
