HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – Next Saturday, the Fresno Chapter of Walleyes Unlimited will host their 36th annual banquet at Havre’s Ice Dome. Fresno Chapter President Nate Molstad says they will serve walleye and beef and have a variety of games and raffles.
“We have a whole slew of games. In fact, we spend a lot of time preparing for banquet. In fact, we do it several months ahead, spend a lot of time working on our prizes, working on our games. Trying to do something new every year just to give something different for those that return year after year. And so, got a few new games this year. Lots of great prizes and should be a fantastic night.”
Molstad says that money they raise at the banquet is what they have available to fund their activities for the coming year.
“This is our biggest fundraising event that we do. We do it in conjunction with our gun raffle and so those are our two primary fundraiser’s. But this is what we generate all of our funds that sets the stage for all of our annual events.”
Doors open at 4:30 PM, early bird prizes start at 5, and dinner will be served at 6:30. Tickets cost $40 apiece.
