HELENA, (Mont:) – Last Friday, Governor Steve Bullock made several appointments to various state
committees and boards. Among them was Justin Wiese of Malta, who was named to the Montana Alfalfa Seed Board.
Wiese is the owner/operator of a family farm in Malta, and is engaged in the growing of alfalfa seed within the state. Wiese’s operation derives a substantial portion of their income from handling, packing, shipping, buying, or selling alfalfa seed, or acting as a broker or factor of alfalfa seed.
Also appointed by Governor Bullock on Friday was James Schillinger of Circle, who was named to the Montana State Board of Hail Insurance. Schillinger is a farmer in McCone County.
