(Washington, D.C.) – The Office of Electricity and the Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy announced nearly $8.4 million for four projects that will advance technologies to improve grid reliability, optimize the electricity infrastructure in existing applications, and facilitate renewable resource interconnection and market access.
This funding will improve the reliability and efficiency of power transfer and is in response to the U.S. Department of Energy’s February 2023, funding opportunity announcement to accelerate grid-enhancing technologies.
