(Havre) The Hill County Commissioners met for their weekly meeting on Thursday, January 4th.
A resolutions passed establishing compensation for county office employees for mileage, meals, and holidays, changing boundary lines of certain precincts in Hill County, as well as scheduling and hours of operation establishment for 2024. They remain identical to that of 2023.
The board also moved to temporarily rehire Sue Armstrong to the clerk and recorders office as an assistant to current Hill County Clerk and Recorder Lexis Dockter (Dock-tor) with her duties this election year. Armstrong has previously served as Clerk and Recorder. After some discussion regarding the wording of the job description, the motion passed.
