(Havre) January 12th is the MSU extensions region wide Golden Triangle Cropping Seminar. New Media Broadcasters asked Colleen Pegar of MSU’s Hill County Extenion office, what the events agenda entailed.
(Colleen Pegar) “So, on Friday, January 12, we’re going to have our Golden Triangle cropping seminar. We got Doctor Pat Carr coming up from the Central Ag Research Center. talking about crop rotations for dryland cropping systems. We have Steven Van Tassel from the Montana Department of Ag. He’s going to talk about vertabrate pest control and crops. And then Terry Turner is going to talk about noxious weed control and the spray drone they have for Hill County. And then Doctor Tim Sipel from MSU Extension. He’s going to talk about weed resistance and emerging crop plans. And then our last speaker is going to be Eric Blasco, and he’s going to give ten marketing tips for wheat, barley and pulse crop producers. We’re going to start at 8:30 is the registration. We’ll go til three. Lunch is provided. It’s free of charge, and we will have three pesticide credits.
