(Blaine County) The Blaine County Museum has been doing their off-season speaker series since October of 2023, and they recently announced the next speaker for their series.
Rod Benson, teacher in Hays, Montana has been selected to give a presentation at the Chinook Senior Center on Wednesday, February 7th. New Media Broadcasters spoke with Sam French, Executive Director of Blaine County Museum, to ask for more details.
“Rod Benson is a high school science teacher. He’s teaching at Hays Lodgepole School right now, he’s in his 42nd and last year of teaching I believe. He also is a hiking enthusiast, he does quite a few hikes in the area in the Fort Belknap area in particular since that’s where he teaches. During his talk at the Chinook Senior Center he’ll be doing, basically, a shortened version, one hour long, geological history of Blaine County.”
