(Plentywood) Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks will be holding an informational fisheries meeting at the Sheridan County Library Jubilee Room on Tuesday, February 6th, from 6-8 p.m.
Regional biologist Jared Krebs will provide an overview of pond and small reservoir sampling in 2023, including Box Elder Reservoir sampling results, stocking changes, and upcoming management actions.
The FWP website says that the Box Elder Reservoir is home to 3 different families of fish, one native to that water and two introduced later on. FWP says this meeting will provide an opportunity for the public to be involved in open discussions and ask questions of the FWP fisheries staff concerning fisheries management in northeast Montana.
