(Montana) The US Citizenship and Immigration Service is eliminating the need for an in person office visit for some portions of the immigration process.
The USCIS says that they will now allow fees for benefit request forms to be paid for via mail, either by check or credit card with the proper approval. The Service says that by eliminating the need for an office appointment, this new process should save time and money for anyone who must pay these fees.
They also say that an exception to this new process is an emergency advance parole (EAP) request, which much still be paid in person.
